Ulf Svane, born in Copenhagen in 1988, now moves between Bangkok and Copenhagen. An award-winning photographer with a refined focus on culture and humanity, his work has taken him across the world - from Myanmar and Sierra Leone to Ukraine, Peru and Brunei. Working across editorial, commercial and personal projects, he explores rural traditions and urban transformations, seeking to amplify local voices while thoughtfully questioning the trajectory of urban development through the local historical projects CPH Archive and BKK Archive. His work has been featured in National Geographic, The Washington Post, Financial Times, Der Spiegel, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel+Leisure and various nonprofit organizations.
